Image Painter

A JavaScript application that paints any image using color splashes, directly on an HTML canvas.

To use Image Painter, simply pick an image. You can choose one of the listed ones, or enter the URL of an image of your own.

After it's loaded, the image will be rendered be the Painter, although using only paint splashes. For more precise detailing, smaller splashes are used toward the end — but the result rarely has much actual detail.

Image Painter was made using JavaScript and the canvas element. It is colorful and graphic.
